The residents of Altavista celebrated this Monday at 7:00 p.m. the festivity of their patron saint San Antonio María Claret. The Holy Mass was presided over by the parish priest of Tías, Adrián Sosa Nuez, accompanied by Nicanor Bermúdez, parish priest of Altavista and Valterra.
Professor Josefina González was in charge of enlivening the songs for the celebration with the piano. Once the Eucharist was over, the image of San Antonio María Claret went out in procession and toured some of the streets of the neighborhood. Upon returning to the church, the neighbors shared chocolates and sweets that they themselves had made.
