The "Elevate your entrepreneurial mind" conference will take place on October 27 between 09:00 and 14:00 hours and is organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote in collaboration with Activas, a group of four women entrepreneurs from the island who want to highlight the business mindset as a key factor in achieving success in a business.
Jorge Peñas, Minister of Employment of the Cabildo: "This is a free day of talks and activities that have been organized with the aim of helping women entrepreneurs or professionals to generate an optimal mindset that allows them to successfully face the management of their businesses."
In short, "it is about empowering and supporting women and strengthening their business skills, as well as promoting their development as an economic agent of change and social transformation and inspiring and sharing experiences and tools."
The conference will take place in the Assembly Hall of the island corporation and is divided into two blocks: "Business attitude" and "Women and entrepreneurship".
In the first, three presentations will be given: "Key attitudes for entrepreneurship", by Covadonga Bertrand; "Entrepreneurship with awareness", by Vanessa Farraz; and "Self-care as a key to growth", given by Marta Bertrand.
The topics to be discussed in the second block will be "Equality as a competitive advantage", which will be given by Fran Galante, "Ethics and entrepreneurship", which will be discussed by Ana Oncina; and "Female leadership", a presentation that will be given by Lidia Monzón.
