Proexca launches the first program to support the internationalization of the music industry in the Canary Islands. This pilot project seeks to support the sector in its growth and development in national and international markets, giving them the necessary tools and notions for this objective.

The program consists of two phases. The first phase is training, through which, with a complete program, students will learn diverse areas such as digital marketing and management of professional profiles in social media; international distribution platforms such as Spotify; international networking and will develop a business plan for their own strategy. This training will be given by industry professionals, hand in hand with The Beat Hub, and will last a month and a half until mid-November.

During the second phase, an external consultant will analyze the projects and profiles presented in the first phase to select 10 of them and offer them specialized consulting in internationalization. You can submit applications until this Tuesday, October 8.

The objective of this project is to provide local talent with tools, through training that allows the development and growth towards foreign markets of Canarians who work in this industry.

An industry that encompasses subsectors of activity, and that ranges from musicians, singers, music schools, lyricists, audiovisual companies and material rental, engineers and image and sound technicians, specialists in video clips (actors, costumes, art and props, makeup and hairdressing), organizers and promoters of festivals, and a long etcetera.
