The average price per square meter in Lanzarote was about to reach 2,500 euros in June, according to the Lanzarote Data Center based on figures from idealista.com.

The most pronounced increase was recorded in Tías, where housing for sale has experienced a rise of 16% since the beginning of the year to reach 3,421 euros per square meter.

Thus, the prices of the municipality that includes Puerto del Carmen almost equal those recorded in Yaiza, which hardly experience changes compared to January of this year. Currently the average price in the south is 3,444 euros per square meter.

The other major price increase since January is recorded in Arrecife, where the square meter rose by 6.75% to reach 1,746 euros.

The third most expensive municipality to buy an apartment, although more than a thousand euros away from the prices of Yaiza and Tías, is Teguise, where the square meter marked in June 2,381 euros per square meter.

Prices barely rose in Teguise since the beginning of the year and neither did they in San Bartolomé and Tinajo where prices have been around 2,000 euros per square meter since January.

Idealista.com has not presented average prices for Haría in June as it does not have enough ads to propose a rigorous calculation.
