The Club La Santa Night Run 2023 only needs to finalize a few details before being the main protagonist of the Lanzarote night on November 25. A fun, family and gastronomic sports event, surrounded by a unique atmosphere of light and music. As main novelties compared to previous editions, apart from the possibility of running four kilometers or seven, this year you can participate in the walking modality, ideal for those interested in walking quietly along the route.
Another piece of news is the inclusion of the KIDS Night Run, focused on boys and girls from six months to 15 years old. In addition, the Night Run is once again valid for the Tinajo Popular Race Cup.
With the Tinajo City Council as co-organizer and the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Lanzarote European Sports Destination, Caixabank and CICAR, the event consolidates its name among the most outstanding sporting events on the island. From 5:00 p.m., all participants will be able to access the magnificent facilities of Club La Santa to live an iconic and relaxed experience until 7:00 p.m., when the race will officially begin. The start and end of the route will be at the same point: the Club La Santa Stadium. In fact, to facilitate access to the hotel and sports complex, buses will be chartered to and from Arrecife.
As every year, the Night Run will be the prelude to the subsequent International Running Challenge, a competition that will start the next day and will last for four days of stages with different distances and terrains. This test is a real challenge for the hundreds of national and international participants who are encouraged to try it, since they will have to run on asphalt, volcanic terrain or even the sand of the beach.
