The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote organized the visit of some importers to the most important fruit and vegetable fair in Morocco, held in Agadir, in order to get some contacts with companies exporting and importing fresh food of plant origin, among other things.
The surprise for some entrepreneurs from Lanzarote was to verify that some companies with which they already work in the peninsula are installed in Morocco. Something that businessmen consider would facilitate logistics in case of opening business lines between both countries.

In relation to the ship that transports the goods between the continent and the island, however, although the expectations that, according to the Chamber of Commerce Naviera Armas, "fueled in its day and that pointed to the possibility of linking Tarfaya with Lanzarote" have not been met, the business community has once again been surprised by the interest of other shipping companies that are working on the opening of a new line between Agadir and Lanzarote.
Thus, according to a press release from the Chamber of Commerce, if all the pieces fit together definitively, "in a very short time" the project in which the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote has been working for a few months could become a reality to open new business lines with Morocco.
