The Cabildo of Lanzarote has published the call to obtain direct grant subsidies for the fishing sector of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
The maximum aid depending on the size of the vessel will be 2,000 euros (GT Group - Less than 15), 25,000 euros (between 15 and less than 100) and 35,000 euros (more than 100). The application period will be open until November 16.
The Fishing Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Andrés Stinga, explains that the benefits aim to "guarantee local fishing production and prevent the loss of business fabric in the fishing sector" and details that the item assigned to this call reaches 600,000 euros.
The beneficiaries must be registered in the census of entrepreneurs, professionals and withholders, with their activity declared fiscally at the time of submitting the aid application, so that fishing is their main activity.
