Intersindical Canaria calls off the strike at Molina Orosa after reaching an agreement with management

Intersindical Canaria calls off the strike scheduled for June 3 after reaching an agreement this Friday with the management of the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital, through which the incorporation of between 2 and 3 laboratory technicians for the Blood Bank service will be carried out. According to Coralia Lobato, a member of the center's Personnel Board, "this agreement will take effect from June 1."

With this agreement, "Intersindical Canaria manages to put an end to a demand that had been transferred on several occasions to those responsible for the service and that, if it were not for the measures adopted by this union, it would not have been resolved." "It is an important agreement for us as workers and for patients, since with the incorporation of these colleagues, a quality service adjusted to the demand can be offered," Lobato pointed out. In this sense, the union representative wanted to thank the "effort and commitment" of the workers who have supported a "just and necessary cause" for the proper functioning of the service.

Likewise, and despite the tensions inherent in the conflict, IC appreciates "the management's willingness to negotiate, while recalling that, as it has committed to its representatives, it will remain vigilant to defend their labor interests."
