Spar Lanzarote has once again carried out the campaign called "Solidarity Product", as has been traditional on these dates.
Thanks to the commitment of customers, suppliers and SPAR, a total collection of 8,080€ has been obtained, entirely destined to the associations of Calor&Café and Cáritas Lanzarote. During the period between October 20 and November 16 of this year, hundreds of products were identified with the solidarity icon, donating part of the amount of their sale to solidarity purposes.
On Thursday, Rubén González, representing the company, together with Sister Ana from Calor & Café and the head of the food area of Cáritas Lanzarote, Loli Fernández, handed over the check in favor of each of the aforementioned entities.
“For us it is as if we had won the jackpot”, commented Sister Ana when she received her check. Loli Fernández highlighted that this year there has been a little more collaboration from the citizens “Lanzarote is a very supportive island and proof of this is being here with you today”.
This action reinforces the various institutional collaboration plans that the company SPAR LANZAROTE develops throughout the year, committed to its environment in various areas such as social, culture or sports, among others.
