Millán Salcedo is a fundamental part of the history of humor, television, and entertainment in Spain. He formed an unrepeatable duo with Josema Yuste: the unforgettable Martes y Trece. The duo was founded in the late seventies and, literally, swept through the 80s and 90s, becoming a classic, with which many, year after year, ate grapes with the unforgettable New Year's Eve galas. Next Friday, September 19, as part of the International Humor Festival of Lanzarote, he lands on the island with his show Pregunta Melón, which will be held in the auditorium of Jameos del Agua at 8:00 p.m.
Salcedo explains what his new show is like, which he defines as "very much in line with the times we live in." And it is that the people who come to Jameos to "Preguntamelón" will have the possibility of asking with a microphone as Millán tells us: "this is what I like the most, people ask whatever they want, and this is great for me because I only retain liquids anymore, I don't have to learn the script," he tells us in a joking tone. The result is always a different show, all the performances are different, "what I like the most is interacting with the audience, as I always say: "I swear to tell the whole truth, even if the whole truth seems like a lie to you, what I want is spontaneity, I am happy."
Regarding the island that welcomes him, he comments that he has "an anecdote that occurred in Jameos, in a gala in September 1991 with Teresa Campos, who was a fantastic but very bossy woman, whom I loved very much, and I will tell it in detail," Salcedo assures. Lanzarote seems to him a place of indescribable art and that Manrique is a national treasure.
