Macher Motor, official Nissan dealer in Lanzarote, has received from Marco Toro, managing director of Nissan Iberia, the trophy that accredits this concession as winner of the Nissan Global Awards 2017 award.

This award is the most important that Nissan Motor Co. from Nissan headquarters in Japan gives to the best Nissan dealers in the world. Only 166 dealers, out of the more than 4,000 that Nissan has on five continents, have overcome this year the difficult challenges that the Global Awards 2017 posed. For Macher it is its first Nissan Global Awards.

Getting this award is very difficult, as it not only requires exceeding the percentage of the national average of sales in all channels, but also requires the best rates of customer satisfaction in the sales process as well as in the after-sales service, among other requirements. That is why only the best in each country in the world get it.

Today is a very important day for Macher, as this award distinguishes Macher as the world elite of Nissan brand dealers. You have obtained a share of 8.6% in the previous year, more than three points above the Nissan average in Spain. (Marco Toro, Nissan Iberia).

Despite the good results so far, Marco Toro focused on the aging of the fleet: "In the Canary Islands, in general, the average age of the fleet is almost 13 years and that is a long time, since the new vehicles are "light years" away from the old ones in environmental and safety aspects. Therefore, it is still important that measures are supported by institutions and the sector to undertake a decisive renewal of the fleet, also taking advantage of the situation to promote new technologies, much more efficient and safe, such as 100% zero-emission electric vehicles."

For us it is a great satisfaction to receive this important award for the first time as it is a recognition to all of us who are part of the Macher Motor Group to our work and represents an immense confidence and an incentive to continue working to improve day by day and to make the Nissan brand occupy the first positions in Lanzarote. (Sonia Toledo, Manager of Macher Motor).
