Hospiten Lanzarote joins for the third consecutive year as a collaborator in the Solidarity Sneakers 2020 campaign, launched by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Hermanos Martínez Foundation, which in its seventh edition aims to get young Guineans started in the practice of sports as a model of social inclusion and the development of healthy habits in a safe environment.
In this context, the Hospiten Group is once again collaborating in the collection of sports shoes to be given to the most disadvantaged young people in the towns of Equatorial Guinea who participate in the basketball and soccer campus that takes place in the City of Malabo and Bata.
People who wish to collaborate can deliver their sports shoes until March 15, 2020 at more than 51 collection points distributed throughout the island of Lanzarote, as well as at Hospiten Lanzarote, in educational centers, sports centers and municipal sports centers. Thanks to this cooperation on the island, in the previous edition more than 2,200 young people from Equatorial Guinea at risk of social exclusion benefited from the action and were able to use appropriate footwear in their sports practice.
This initiative has been consolidated as a recycling and inter-community cooperation project to unite the population of the Island of Lanzarote with the most disadvantaged children and young people of Equatorial Guinea and the Hospiten Group, has wanted to maintain its support in this new edition of the campaign to promote the inclusion of less favored groups and, in turn, consolidate its support for sport and its relationship with a healthy life.
