Elizabeth Rent a Car celebrated a special event last Thursday, August 18 to commemorate its 30th anniversary. The place chosen for the occasion was the Amura restaurant in Puerto Calero.
Elizabeth Rent a Car is a family business, of the 2nd generation, founded in 1986 by Don Juan Ángel Álvarez, current owner of the company, who has always had the support and collaboration of his wife Doña Mª Esperanza Medina.
Currently the company offers car rental services in the main tourist centers of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, where it stands out for the vehicle delivery service on site, where the customer indicates where and when they want to pick up the vehicle and it is there where the contract is formalized and receives the keys.
The company has a modern, safe and varied fleet, in constant renovation, being consistent with the times through which the automotive world is going.
The event was attended by various tourist agents collaborating with the company, businessmen from the car rental sector in Lanzarote, family and friends. Also, the Honorable Mayor of the Tías City Council, Don José Francisco Hernández, who dedicated a few words of recognition to the company, for its trajectory during these last 30 years.
At the event, its current director, Don Ángel David Álvarez, son of the founder, thanked all the attendees, and especially his collaborators and clients, for the trust they have always placed in Elizabeth Rent a Car. In addition, a special and emotional recognition was made to Doña Elizabeth Pérez, who helped the founder of the company in the beginning. He thanked her by naming the organization after her. There were also thanks to Doña Yasmina Álvarez, former director of Elizabeth Rent a Car in Fuerteventura, for all her effort and dedication to the company.
Ángel David Álvarez on behalf of his entire family, made special mention of all the workers and former workers of the company for their dedication and effort in offering a quality service.
