The "Canarias Expande" tutoring program continues its work of supporting island companies in their process of expansion into new markets, with a conference on international tenders on October 29.
A program to boost business growth
Canarias Expande is designed to help companies in Lanzarote and La Graciosa grow beyond the local market, addressing regional, national and international expansion. Aimed at consolidated companies with regionalization and/or internationalization potential, the program is structured in several phases. The first, of business training, began on September 25 with the participation of 10 selected companies. This phase includes 25 hours of personalized advice between October and December, covering key topics such as economic-financial analysis, digitization and the development of expansion plans.
In addition, training actions open throughout the year are offered, and a diagnostic phase to assess the expansion potential of companies.
Conference on international tenders, a gateway to new markets
As part of the awareness initiatives, the free online conference "International Tenders: opportunity for growth and economic diversification of the company" will be held on October 29. Aimed at freelancers, SMEs, and company managers, the session seeks to inform about business opportunities in foreign markets through international tenders and the procedures necessary to access them.
The conference is open to consultants in the tourism, environmental, energy sectors, as well as engineering, architecture, water management, digital transformation companies, and other sectors with an interest in expanding internationally. Interested public can register for free through this link.
This action is framed within the "Canarias Expande" Program, it is carried out thanks to the financing of the General Directorate of Promotion and Economic Diversification of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Commerce and Self-Employed of the Government of the Canary Islands and the co-financing of the FEDER Canarias 2021-2027 program.
