Coalición Canaria warns the PSOE that it is running out of "excuses" to continue without responding to the migratory emergency in the Canary Islands. This was stated this Wednesday by the Secretary of Organization of the Canarian nationalists, David Toledo, who sent a message to the State Government: "You cannot play politics when what we are talking about is the future of almost 6,000 children who remain in limbo in the Canary Islands and those who continue to arrive."

Toledo appealed to responsibility in a moment "critical for the archipelago like the one we are experiencing" and said he did not understand that "as of today the meeting to which the Minister of Territorial Policy himself, Ángel Víctor Torres, committed, between the State, the main opposition party, the PP, and the Government of the Canary Islands to advance in the reform of the immigration law continues to this day without a date."

The number two of the Canarian nationalists stressed that the migratory crisis in the Canary Islands "is clearly not on the State's agenda but it is on the agenda of a Government of the Canary Islands that continues to not receive a single euro and that continues to assume alone the care of almost 6,000 boys and girls in a reception system that has long been collapsed."
