Lanzarote Acción Civil has reported on the significant risk posed by windows with broken glass in a building on Nicaragua Street, opposite the Santa Maria de Los Volcanes School. "This situation raises a safety concern for students and pedestrians, especially during school entry and exit hours," they added.

"It was the students' parents themselves who informed us of this situation, and it is our civil platform that is making it known, as the glass in that window has been in poor condition for more than two months and is about to fall due to the wind without being repaired," they stated.

From Lanzarote Acción Civil, we urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action to address this problem and ensure a safe environment. "The safety of our children and neighbors, in general, is of utmost importance and should not be compromised by the danger that this situation poses," they express.

According to the group, "the origin of the breakage of these windows dates back two months, when the action of vandals who set fire to the containers in front of the building caused the glass in many windows on the street to burst due to the heat."

Finally, they explain that "as it is a private building, we urge the municipal corporation to contact the owners and inform them of the current situation." "From Lanzarote Acción Civil, we register this urgency so that it is addressed as quickly as possible," they stated.
