A reader has contacted La Voz de Lanzarote in order to denounce the accumulation of vehicles in Famara on Brezo del Mar street, which is included within the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park for being a unique ecosystem.
"It's not a matter of a Saturday or a Sunday, which it shouldn't be either, it's daily," says the complainant.
The neighbor points out that Brezo del Mar street is of "maritime public domain by Coasts" but adds that it was "transmitted to the City Council at least two years ago so that they could manage it" and that they replied that the management "of the Natural Park is the responsibility of the Cabildo."
Although "there is a sign prohibiting parking 100 meters away that was put up by the Local Police", the reader highlights that "no one respects it."
"There are no bollards, people park on top of the dunes, camp, light fires and leave the garbage lying there," the reader denounces.
The neighbor demands responsibility from the Local Police, the Civil Guard and the Teguise City Council to regulate the situation.
