A resident of Arrecife has contacted La Voz to report the "danger" posed by several high-voltage cables that have fallen on Benito Pérez Galdós street, a problem that has also left him without internet for more than three days.
“We must prevent the cables from the pole from falling completely, because they are high voltage, it is very dangerous,” he says. “Also, this is the fourth day we have been without internet.”
The man has stressed that he has contacted Movistar, the company in charge of the connection, but they have not yet given him a solution.
“They told me that when they have a technician they will come by here and they have been waiting for four days”, says the neighbor. “It is a shame because I continue paying the phone bill and I even have to be passing my son the internet to the tablet with my mobile data.”
He also adds that he may not be the only one affected by this problem. “I think there must be more people affected because I am not the only one connected to that post,” he says.
“At the moment we are waiting for the technicians,” says the man, who also fears that this “ordeal will be long”, so he does not rule out reporting the case to the Police.
