A neighbor has contacted La Voz to report that, in the area of Camino Mardespino and Barranco de las Truchas in Tías, the pipes break "daily."
"Every 100 meters there is a broken pipe from less than a month ago, and almost all of them from a week ago," says this man, who this Thursday decided to record a video, in which water can be seen running through different points of the streets. A situation that he also claims is not new, but has been going on for "years."
"Water is always running along the Barranco de las Truchas road," insists this neighbor. And it is that, he claims that Canal Gestión only "patches" the faults, so the pipes "keep bursting at another point."
In addition, he complains that the company's operators "take quite a while" to come when they are called, and can take "up to five days." "Sometimes they even come, fix one, and leave another unfixed," says this man, who considers this waste of water "a scandal."
