The Haría City Council has formalized the purchase of a property located at Fajardo street, number 20, to enhance services for the elderly in the municipality. This property has an approximate area of 1,911 m² and a building of about 421 square meters, and has been acquired for over 640,000 euros. The council explained in a statement that this property will allow for "larger, more functional, and adapted spaces, optimizing the care and services for the elderly in the municipality."

The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, emphasized that this acquisition "represents a significant step in strengthening municipal infrastructure and ensuring more comprehensive and personalized care for our residents." Villalba adds that the strategic location and characteristics of the property will allow for "offering larger, accessible, and adapted spaces to the needs of our elders."

"This investment reflects our commitment to the older population of Haría, providing resources and spaces that contribute to their well-being, safety, and quality of life," states the mayor.

For her part, the councilor for Social Welfare and the Elderly, Evelia García, explains that this property will allow for the expansion of "programs and activities aimed at our elders, offering more functional and adapted spaces for their needs." "This new space will be key to fostering socialization, active participation, and well-being among everyone," she assures.

The property is located in the vicinity of the main municipal facilities, which will facilitate its integration into the administrative activity of the municipality and citizen services.

The council will now begin the design and refurbishment work, ensuring that the facilities become "a functional, welcoming, and accessible place, strengthening the programs and activities aimed at the elderly in the municipality."
