One person was injured in a traffic accident involving three cars on El Tenderete street in Costa Teguise, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The incident took place around 8:45 AM this Wednesday, December 17, when the CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Services, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The Consortium's personnel had to free a person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles. After coordinating the intervention with healthcare personnel, the trapped person was extracted using the zero-degree technique. Once out of the vehicle, the victim was placed on the ambulance stretcher and secured with a vacuum mattress for transport.
Subsequently, medical personnel assisted and stabilized her before transferring her to Molina Orosa Hospital.Finally, the police officers drew up the corresponding report.
