A family from Lanzarote thanks the healthcare team of the Palliative Care area of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for the treatment given to their father.
In a letter sent to La Voz de Lanzarote they highlighted: "I want to express the feeling that my family has had towards the team of Doctors and Nurses of Palliative Care of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. In this letter, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the professional and loving work they do every day. Their dedication and commitment to accompanying patients and families in the most painful and sad moments should not go unnoticed.
Their work goes beyond medical care, as they provide comfort, emotional support and understanding in times of fragility.
We wanted to make this written recognition, since they have made us feel in you that good part that is and should be ordinary but on many occasions, perhaps too many, the noise of the bad things in life does not let us see or they become extraordinary.
Their care, in this case of our father, husband and grandfather, has been comforting and warm. They make a significant difference in the lives of those of us who go through these difficult times. Their work is an example of vocation, empathy and dedication, their professionalism is worthy of admiration.
We deeply appreciate everything they do for those of us who need their care, for being a pillar of support in times of vulnerability. Their work is and has been invaluable and their commitment is a testament to their noble profession.
May their work be recognized, valued, and may they continue to be a ray of light and hope in the darkness for those who need them.
With deep gratitude and respect, Family: R.M".
