UD Lanzarote visited UD Las Palmas Atlético, solid leader of group XII of the Third Federation, this Sunday at noon. The yellow subsidiary once again showed its tremendous punch, being enough to defeat the red and whites by 2 to 1.

UD Lanzarote surprised its rival in the first minutes, putting high pressure and trying to hinder the circulation of the locals' ball. Despite this, UD Las Palmas Atlético took the lead on their first arrival, with Elías Romero culminating a collective play by his team.

Around the half hour mark, UD Lanzarote established the tie, after the referee signaled an action inside the area as a penalty. Adrián Machín was in charge of executing the maximum penalty, establishing the equalizing goal.

Before the break, UD Lanzarote had an unbeatable chance. Iván Hujo finished at the goal mouth, but his shot did not find the goal. The first 45 minutes ended with a 1-1 draw.

UD Las Palmas Atlético came out better at the start of the second half and did not rest until they took the lead again. Elías Romero put a ball over the defense, the ball was picked up by Saliou inside the area, and his final shot was deflected by defender Alex Cruz.

Until the end of the match, UD Lanzarote kept trying, although UD Las Palmas Atlético gave its game a pause. They closed lines and did not allow the red and white team to get close with danger, ending the match with the result of 2 to 1.
