Victory for Atlético Victoria, in what was the farewell to the great season they have had. The locals had enough aim in front of goal, at the beginning and at the end of the match, to achieve the three points at stake. UD Lanzarote closes the season with an away defeat, in a campaign in which they achieve the set objective of permanence. An irregular season for the rojillo team in which it has combined veteran status and youth, having to solve all the problems that have been put in its way.
From the start, Rubén Luis's team found Héctor's goal, who took advantage of a rebound from the goalkeeper, bothered by the sun, from Joseph's shot, to cross the ball from close range. The home team came out strong at the start of the match, not letting the conejeros out of their field. But little by little Lanzarote shed its ballast and began to generate chances and the match became more even.
In this way, Kennedy and Toño had two opportunities to equalize, but they did not find the goal. Héctor almost achieved it, who under the posts sent a good foray by Sergio down the wing high. As the period progressed, the game lost arrival and attractiveness and only in the last minutes did both teams approach the opposite goal again.
For the Lanzarote team, a foul by Toñito sought the squad of Dani's goal, but it went wide and later, for the Victorians, a shot by Cristo was stopped by Agoney, with a good hand down.
Atlético Victoria came out with intensity again in the second half, with David as a reference in front of goal since two shots from this player were close to becoming a goal. The first shortly after the start of the period, with a shot against the post and the second with a free kick that Agoney took, with difficulty to a corner kick.
The opportunities in front of goal were less in this period, of the little to highlight, before reaching the final minutes, was an attempt at a vaseline from Gerardo, which went high.
Already in the final moments the match was encouraged again with opportunities for both teams, with those of Adolfo Pérez, two very clear ones to achieve the equalizer. Kennedy found the crossbar, after a good shot, shortly after it would be Toño, who would finish and Dani prevented the goal.
The one who did not miss his opportunity was Nauzet, for the Tenerife team, after a divided ball in which the conejero goalkeeper fails to clear it, this falls to the striker's boots, who scores the second goal that certified the local triumph with an empty goal.
