The community strategy 'Conecta Tías' and the Tías City Council have organized fun soccer matches with secret weapons, mixed teams and unlimited changes for the end of December, which will take place on December 27, 28 and 29.

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and the first deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, have explained that this initiative is included in the 'ConciliaActiva' project, promoted to reconcile family and work life in the municipality. In addition, the tournament promotes sports and the integration of young people into the community.

The tournament, called 'Team League', is aimed at young people between 12 and 16 years old and will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on December 27 and 28 on the Mácher court and on December 29 at the Tías municipal hall.

The presentation and draw of pairings will take place on December 19 at 7:15 p.m. at the 'Conecta Tías' headquarters, Calle César Manrique 37, Puerto del Carmen. Eight teams of eight players each will be formed with different ages and genders.

The general rules of the tournament are the same as classic indoor soccer, but some are modified to create a more dynamic environment. Secret weapons are provided, as each team has a card, chosen at random, that gives them an advantage per game: penalty in favor, exclusion of a rival for two minutes or double goal for two minutes.

In addition to these secret weapons, there will be unlimited changes, there will be no extensions, penalties will be launched from the center and the yellow card will be punished with two seconds.

'Conecta Tías' is a proposal from the Tías City Council to bring together community intervention measures, services and actions that affect different council departments, working in a network and promoting citizen participation.
