A tournament committed to sustainability

The 2025 edition of the Lanzarote International Cup has been firmly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating responsible practices in all areas of the organization. A firm commitment has been made to respect for the environment through an efficient waste management system and the use of electric transport by the organization. Likewise, the public and clubs were invited to adopt native plants and offset their carbon footprints.

In addition, priority has been given to the consumption of local and zero kilometer products, working closely with suppliers on the island, in a clear commitment to the local economy and the sustainability of the destination. As a complement, a guide has been made available to visitors so that they can discover the natural beauty and fragility of Lanzarote in a conscious and respectful way, thus promoting responsible tourism.
