The ESNA Lanzarote swimming team has returned more than loaded with medals after a remarkable performance in the Canary Islands Winter Open held last weekend in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in a 25-meter pool.
The team explains that "in addition to congratulating the group of swimmers who have returned to the island with medals, we must also celebrate Paula Hernando's achievement of a place in the Spanish Winter Championship with a record of 34'27''.
The ESNA Lanzarote medalists at the Canary Islands Winter Open were Paula Hernando (50 meters Breaststroke) Gold and minimum for the Spanish Absolute Championship ahead of Andrea Santana from CN Metropole and Natacha Chaves from CN Teneteide. Claudia Pérez (200 meters freestyle) Bronze. Paula Hernando (400 meters medley). Silver with a time of 5:26.13, only behind Nerea Hernández, from CN Metropole (5:16.74) and ahead of Carmen Santana, also from Metropole.
