The cadets of CB. Puerto del Carmen Tiñosa have been proclaimed champions of the Canary Islands and already have the Spanish Championship in mind after a "wonderful weekend in Fuerteventura", they acknowledge from the team.

The championship ended on Sunday with the victory of the Tiñoseras against Bm. Morro Jable (27-23). Previously, Miguel Ángel Lemes' small great warriors began their
adventure in Group B where they defeated Rocasa and lost to Bm. Morro Jable (24-21).

Despite the defeat, the aurinegras managed to qualify for the semifinals where they managed to get rid of 3 Comsquad Valsequillo (27-35). In the final, the Tiñoseras made up for the defeat against the majoreras in the first phase to win the regional title in a match that was not easy, very even until the final minutes (20-20, min. 50) and with constant changes on the scoreboard in favor of one team or the other.

But the Tiñoseras bees knew how to better manage the last partial of the match with a 7-3 in ten minutes that crowned them as champions of the Canary Islands and gave them the passport to the Spanish championship. Amelia Gabaldón was the most inspired in attack among the aurinegras with 6 goals, well accompanied in the offensive facet by Martina Lemes' 5 goals and Zaida Armas' other 5. In the ranks of Majorera, Yasmin Fernández's 11 goals stand out.

The title of Champions of the Canary Islands in the cadet category is added to the runner-up of the Canary Islands Youth Championship obtained by CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen a few days ago.
