There was no relaxation in the squad of CB San José Obrero to receive the bottom team of the category on Saturday afternoon and the rotations made by Iñaki Malumbres allowed to see a fairly oiled team on the court. The Lanzarote team achieved a comfortable victory against SAR Plastic Omnium, adding the two points that were at stake and that allows them to stay in the upper area of the standings of the Men's First National League.

The players of San José Obrero jumped onto the court with the idea of settling the match quickly and barely needed five minutes to achieve a wide difference in the score. The partial in the first five minutes was 6 to 1 in favor of the locals, having to request the coach of SAR Plastic Omnium the first timeout to stop the gale of the rival's game.

The game of the Lanzarote team was based on a fairly solid 6:0 defense, a successful Pavel Miskevich under the posts and quick counterattacks to take advantage of the slow defensive retreat of the Galicians. The difference increased with the passing of the minutes, without SAR Plastic Omnium giving the sensation of endangering the local victory.

The first part of the match concluded with a partial of 4 to 0 in favor of CB San José Obrero, thanks to the goals scored by Alexis Rodríguez, Miguel Laguna, Ángel Iglesias and Acoidán Martín. With the score of 20 to 8, the first 30 minutes of the match came to an end.

The wide difference reflected in the score meant that the second part of the match barely had any history. A second half that began with an exchange of goals by both teams, but a new partial of 3 to 1 placed the income at 15 goals, with the coach of the visitors requesting a timeout again when barely 9 minutes had been played.

The coach of San José Obrero, Iñaki Malumbres, took advantage of the match to give minutes to all the players and especially to those who have less participation throughout the season. Important was the participation of the youth players Abián Martín and Diego Ruiz, players who even contributed with goals to the team's attack, or the goalkeeper Roberto Molina who played a good part of the second half.

Victory by 41 to 26 of CB San José Obrero against SAR Plastic Omnium, with the Lanzarote team adding the two points that were at stake to be placed in the second position of the standings and still having one game less than the rest of the rivals. Next week San José Obrero will travel to Gran Canaria to face Balonmano Ingenio.
