On Sunday morning, San José Obrero received the visit of a direct rival in the fight for permanence, suffering a hard defeat against Balonmano Alcobendas.
The match was quite even in the first twenty minutes of the first half, with minimal differences and both teams keeping their chances of scoring the victory intact. Gonzalo Velasco directed all the attacking actions of Balonmano Alcobendas, always finding the best alternatives to beat Javi de la Cruz. Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife had more problems in attack, but the locals remained in the match.
