In the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen, in Lanzarote, you can already feel a great sporting atmosphere, becoming this weekend the epicenter of regional, national
and international triathlon. From the early hours of this Friday, the distribution of bib numbers to the participants of the 'Ocean Lava Lanzarote Triathlon' is underway, and the Parque de Las
Naciones hosted the official presentation of the event at noon this Friday.
The presentation was attended by Juan Antonio Carreño, director of Ocean Lava Lanzarote Triathlon, and Kenneth Gasque, founder of the event. They were accompanied by
José Juan Cruz, mayor of Tías, Francisco Javier Aparicio, Councilor for Security and Emergencies of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, and María Martín, representing 'European Sport Destination'. Also present were Iván Raña, Lydia Dant and Joan Munar, athletes who will be on the starting line of the race on Saturday.
