More than 600 athletes gathered last Saturday at the K10 Xtreme Yaiza, integrated this year in the Bestial Race circuit. Javier Umpiérrez and Elena Belli were the winners of this race, in which the participants had to face the difficult challenge of completing 10 kilometers of running while overcoming obstacles of great difficulty.
Women and men had fun competing and entertained the public that closely followed the race held in the southern town. The men's podium was completed by Javier Camejo and Mark Andrew Thorn, who came in second and third place respectively. For her part, in the women's category, Judit Henríquez took second place, while Esmeralda Janethe Ramírez took third place.
The Yaiza City Council has congratulated the winners and all the athletes and has especially thanked the "enormous effort" of the municipal staff and the Yaiza Civil Protection Group.
