Magec Tías traveled to Basque territory to face HGB Ausarta Barakaldo, where they arrived with the intention of adding their fourth consecutive victory, a fact that could not occur after

The biggest novelty in the island team was the definitive incorporation of Dami Adeyinka after having received the documentation to be able to participate this season. The British player has been training with her teammates, but it has not been until this fifth day that she has been able to officially wear the red and black jersey, adding her first minutes in competition.

The first part of the match was quite even. The equality was notable in the match with different alternatives on the scoreboard and without either of the two teams being able to impose themselves on the other. However, the Basque team was the one that managed to take the advantage in their favor after adding 4 points up at the end of the first quarter and 6 when reaching the break.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, HGB Ausarta Barakaldo printed a gear more than in the first part, a circumstance that the Magec Tías players noticed, being surpassed by the initial local push. The advantage grew to 13 points in favor of the Basques.

Jesús García's team gradually reduced the difference, reaching the last minute and a half with Ausarta Barakaldo ahead with a four-point lead over the red and blacks. The Lanzarote team wasted some counterattacks and suffered several turnovers that prevented them from consummating the comeback and fighting for the victory.

In the last moments, the Barakaldo team once again extended the differences until the scoreboard closed with a result of 70 to 61, with Manuel Moreno's team achieving their fourth victory this season.

After the match, the Lanzarote team began the return home, already thinking about the next match, which will take place against Baloncesto Sevilla as a visitor.
