Great day of tennis that was experienced this Sunday at the Club La Santa facilities. The central court of the sports complex located in the town of Tinajo was the setting for the finals of the ITF Lanzarote Women's Tennis, and which served to crown the winners of this first edition. In the individual draw, the Italian Anastasia Grymalska, number one seed, fulfilled the predictions and won in the final against the South African Natasha Fourouclas. In the doubles category, the triumph went to the Dutch Charlotte Van der Meij and Kelly Versteeg.
Good shots that could be seen on the central court of Club La Santa, with two players moving the ball from one side of the court to the other. Natasha Fourouclas endured the Italian's devastating pace, although as the games progressed Anastasia Grymalska managed to move the South African and practically take her off the court.
Anastasia Grymalska won the first set 6/3. The second set was a carbon copy of the first. Natasha Fourouclas endured the first three games, and ended up giving in to the potential of the Italian who did not give her a break. The second set also ended with a score of 6/3 in favor of Grymalaska, which gave her the victory in the ITF Lanzarote.
The Italian player started the week occupying the 260th position in the WTA ranking and in Lanzarote she has added the twelfth individual title of the ITF circuit. For her part, Natasha Fourouclas resists the first title, being four the finals she has lost as a professional player.

Tennis will continue at the Club La Santa facilities, with the last matches of the qualifying phase of the ITF Lanzarote II being held on Monday. The tournament organized by Firenzze Tennis Academy together with Futures Lanzarote, has the collaboration of Club La Santa, Ayuntamiento de Tinajo and Cabildo de Lanzarote. A scoring event for the WTA ranking and that will once again be endowed with 10,000 dollars.
