Fourth place with a bronze taste for Puerto Calero - Hesperia

The Puerto Calero - Hesperia finished the Queen's Trophy, in Valencia, in a meritorious fourth place with a bronze flavor. Three days have been necessary for the Farr 50 to show itself in the competition as one of the most competitive boats nationwide. The boat maintained its executions in a range of high regularity, which allowed it to reach a good position in the regatta.

The result places Puerto Calero Hesperia as one of the boats to take into account for the next edition of the Copa del Rey in Mallorca. For this competition, the crew will prepare and make the necessary adjustments to face an event that requires the power of the entire team.

Federico Morales, (helm) and José Luis Doteste (tactician) were satisfied with the work of their crew and expressed their optimism for the rest of the season, which will still lead them to participate in La Copa del Rey, Melilla, Cascais and the Canary Islands High Level Sailing Circuit.

On the other hand, the presence of the boat in Valencia has also served as a promotion for the V César Manrique Puerto Calero Hesperia Trophy to be held in October. Among its main novelties is the unprecedented presence of the TP 52 class in Canarian waters, where the boats Siemens, C Quadrat and Caixa Galicia, also winner in Valencia, have already confirmed their participation.
