CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife loses at the buzzer against Elda Prestigio

A free kick with time expired prevented the worker team from returning from Alicante with a draw.

A match to reflect on, developed on Saturday afternoon by CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife on the court of Elda Prestigio, suffering one of those defeats that leave you with a face of circumstances. The match started in the worst way for the Lanzarote team, who were losing by 9 to 1, came back to have a two-goal advantage in the second half, and were left without a prize when Elda Prestigio scored the winning goal in a free kick with time expired that Graci Duque transformed.

CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife started the match in the worst way, with an attack that was harmless to beat the goal defended by the Canary Islander Lulu Guerra, and seeing how the opponent broke the 6:0 defense over and over again. David Betancort took only six minutes to request the first timeout of the match, when the score reflected a 3-0 in favor of the locals.

As the minutes passed, CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife got into the match, taking advantage of the fact that the opponent was starting to make many mistakes, which translated into turnovers. In the last ten minutes of the first half, the partial score was 1 to 6 in favor of the visitors, and halftime was reached with a score of 10 to 7, a result with which they maintained their options despite the terrible first twenty minutes.
