After the dispute of the last regatta of the 44Cup Calero and adding the points obtained in the five events held this year, Nico Poons' Charisma (7 points) won the season victory of the RC44 class. The second position was for Aleph Racing (10 points) and Ceeref powered by Hrastnik 1860 (13 points) closed the final podium. Team Nika finishes the season in fourth place, followed by Península Racing, Team Aqua, Black Star Sailing Team and Artemis Racing.
With great expectation, the last day of the 44Cup Calero Marinas began this Sunday, with all the crews knowing that the podium of this event and the final classification of the RC44 class season were at stake. Aleph took the victory on the last day of this event held in Lanzarote waters, but Charisma has been the great winner of this year.

The race course for the final day of the 44Cup Calero Marinas was once again located off the southeast coast of Lanzarote, a few meters from Puerto Calero. Dozens of fans did not hesitate to enjoy the nautical spectacle from the port's dike or from their cars, located in different points of the coast.
At 12:05 this Sunday, the tenth day of the 44Cup Calero Marinas began. The nine boats hoisted the spectacular black sails with the aim of getting the most out of the 9 knots of wind that were at the beginning of the day. Aleph Racing, Team Aqua, Team Nika and Peninsula Racing took the lead in the first meters of the competition, with very few differences between them and with the lead changing several times. After the last turn at the windward buoy, Aleph, Península Racing and Team Nika headed for the finish line with excellent navigation that kept them on the podium in that order in this heat. In fourth place came Black Star, followed by Charisma, Team Aqua, Artemis, Team Sixty Nine and Ceeref Powered by Harstnik 1860 closed the classification.
The eleventh regatta started with Aleph as leader of the classification, with a six-point advantage over Team Nika, and Charisma was in third place, 16 points behind the leader. After the first turn at the windward buoy, Team Nika, Charisma and Aqua took the lead. At a distance of 100 meters, a second group led by Black Star followed the other teams. It was Charisma who won this heat; 25 seconds later Team Nika crossed the finish line, followed very closely by Aleph Racing.
Maximum expectation in the twelfth regatta of the competition. All the crews wanted to take the best memory of the island with a good position in the last regatta of this event. The equality was again maximum during the first meters and with very little difference the Península Racing, led by the experienced Vasco Vascotto, the Team Aqua commanded by Cameron Appleton and the Ceeref Powered by Harstnik 1860 of Adrian Stead made the first turn at the windward buoy. After the two laps established by the competition committee and with many changes between the third, fourth and fifth place, the exciting last meters of this competition were reached. It was the Península Racing that achieved the last victory of the competition, followed by the Ceeref Powered by Harstnik 1860 and in third place came the Team Aqua. Aleph Racing crossed the finish line in fourth position, followed in this order by Team Nika, Artemis Racing, Black Star, Team Sixty Nine and Chasrisma.
The awards ceremony put the finishing touch to the 44Cup Calero Marinas, an event held in the hospitality aera of the event and which was attended by Juan Monzón, sports councilor of the Cabildo de Lanzarote. In a few months the impressive black sails will be seen again in Lanzarote waters with the dispute of a new edition of the 44 Cup Calero Marinas, marking the beginning of a new season of the RC44 class.
