Club Deportivo Tahíche demonstrated its supremacy and defeated CB San José Obrero in the Lanzarote derby of the Women's First Territorial Handball League. After an even start to the match, Tahiche took control from the middle of the first half. The advantage obtained by the white and blue team was enough to secure the victory against a battling San José Obrero. The Titerroy team never gave up on the match.

The first minutes of the match were even, with alternating scores and not much difference on the court. San José Obrero based their attacks through the pivot, and Tahíche tried to elaborate their attacking plays a bit more. The first advantages of the match were in favor of the home team, although the difference was never more than one goal.

CD Tahíche achieved a 0-4 run, which allowed them to go three goals ahead on the scoreboard (4-7). The local coach called a timeout to prevent the match from slipping away. After the timeout, San José Obrero's game did not improve, and Tahíche achieved another 1-3 run (5-10). It was Tahíche's biggest lead in the first half, and it was the 16th minute.

San José Obrero reacted and managed to reduce the differences, placing themselves within three goals (7-10). The Tahíche coach was not liking what he was seeing on the court and called a timeout to stop the home team's comeback. The instructions given took effect, and they went back to a five-goal lead. In the final stretch of the first half, San José reacted again, and the score at halftime was 13-15.

At the beginning of the second half, the match entered a phase of exchanging goals. CD Tahíche was always ahead on the scoreboard, and San José could only get within one point. The Titerroy team had several opportunities to tie the match, but precipitation took over the San José Obrero players.

One of the keys to the match occurred in the middle of the second half. San José Obrero suffered the exclusions of Idania and Loreto. And just a minute later, Tahíche was left without the participation of María Elena and Yosune for two minutes. It was Tahíche who took advantage of this situation and again obtained a four-goal lead (19-23).

With five minutes left in the match, Tahíche took a five-goal lead (22-27). A difference that they knew how to manage perfectly in the final push of CB San José Obrero, and with the result of 24-29, the match would come to an end.

With this victory, CD Tahíche is placed as the sole leader of group B of the Women's First Territorial Handball League. The white and blue team has added the victory in the three matches they have played to date. San José Obrero is second, after two victories and one defeat.
