For Miguel Ángel Lemes the match in Gijón "has been a very serious match on our part defensively, which allowed us to make many direct counterattacks. The pity is that we were not very fine in front of goal because in the first half we would have easily exceeded 20 goals. Gijón chose to play with a double pivot but still failed to overcome our defense. At the beginning of the second half, a partial of 0-4 already killed the match, we went from 12 goals and from there we lowered the intensity a bit, entering a dynamic of goal in favor goal against. I would like to highlight the defensive work and the attitude of the team after a complicated week due to the issue of Vesi and yet we have made a great match", concludes the coach from Tías.
