Ca´Mario Lanzarote gave Marca Gestión Zonzamas no options.

Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero and Marca Gestión CB Zonzamas met again on Wednesday night, playing the match of the third day of the Men's Territorial Handball League. The "batateros" arrived with an advantage after the victory by four goals difference achieved in the first leg (25-21), so the team trained by Juan Carlos Martín “Chechu” needed the victory to continue having options to fight for the island title.

The beginning of the match was marked by the fast game that Ca´Mario Lanzarote tried to develop on the court, which allowed him to easily overcome the defense of the visiting team. For its part, Marca Gestión Zonzamas was betting on giving pause to its attacking plays, having many turnovers and that led to local counterattacks.

The initial partial in the first five minutes was 5 to 2, having Antonio García request a time out. The indications from the bench were of very little use, and Ca´Mario returned to the court to give his rival a partial of 7-0. The goals of Rafa Robayna (2), Joel Armas (3), Acoidán Martín and Iván Montoya, put the 12 to 2 on the scoreboard.

Marco Cabrera, from the right wing, was in charge of breaking the rival's scoring dynamic, although Marca Gestión Zonzamas continued to have many problems in their attacking actions. The visitors not only saw how the game was escaping them, but the goal average was already in danger. With the score of 20 to 8, the first part came to an end.

The second part barely had any history due to the wide difference reflected on the scoreboard of the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion. A second half that the coach of San José Obrero took the opportunity to give minutes to youth players such as Mario Díaz, Juan Carlos Martín, Abián Martín or the goalkeeper Adrián Betancor, among others.

The difference far from being reduced was increasing as the minutes passed, and many of the goals came in fast counterattacks from the locals, taking advantage of the slow defensive retreat of the players of Marca Gestión Zonzamas.

With the score of 37 to 17, the match came to an end, with Ca´Mario Lanzarote achieving the victory and surpassing the rival's goal average. The players of San José Obrero have the match against CD Alisios left to finish the competition and in case of achieving the victory they would be proclaimed champions of the Men's Territorial Handball League.
