The Club Balonmano San José Obrero, with the support of the Department of Sports of the Arrecife City Council, organizes next weekend a new edition of the Arrecife City Beach Handball Tournament, which will take place on El Reducto beach on August 19 and 20. The tournament is part of the sports activities program of the San Ginés 2023 Festivities.
As in previous editions, the sand of El Reducto beach will become the epicenter of beach handball during the summer season. The tournament will once again feature the children's, cadet, youth and senior categories, competing in both the men's and women's categories.
Registration to participate in this new edition of the Arrecife City Beach Handball Tournament 2023 is progressing at a good pace, and it closes on Wednesday afternoon from 7:00 p.m. Those interested should send their registrations to the email address [email protected]. The email must include the name of the team, the category in which it will participate and its members, with a maximum of 10 members.
Several beach handball courts will be installed on El Reducto beach, where all the activity will take place throughout the weekend of August 19 and 20. The matches will begin on Saturday morning, extending the first day well into the night. And Sunday will be reserved for the celebration of the finals in the different categories.
The Arrecife City Beach Handball Tournament 2023 is organized by CB San José Obrero and is sponsored by the Department of Sports of the Arrecife City Council. It also has the collaboration of the Canary Islands Handball Federation, Government of the Canary Islands, Cabildo de Lanzarote, Canary Islands Latitude of Life, Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve, Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote (CACT) and the Island Sports Service.
