September. These days, the newspapers were not wasted, informatively speaking. They seemed carbon copies of each other. Almost all the news alluded to various deficiencies, shortcomings, difficulties, problems and needs still to be solved. From the extreme, super stressful and more than chaotic state of education to the desperate neighborhood demands, citing complaints of all kinds of violence and criticism regarding the accumulation of garbage and urban defects to end by mentioning important cases of great social significance such as corruption and factory closures; things are burning, red hot, let's say.
Badly accustomed and used to the holiday and festive August, almost absent of problems, all of a sudden we 'premiere' September with a string of pending issues, conflictive situations and pressing needs. And of course, don't see how all this raises adrenaline. In total, all the 'complainants' seemed to have agreed at the same time. And I wonder if this situation is a momentary 'fashion' or if they have infected each other, suffer from stress or abuse coffee. The truth is that they go like motorbikes. And with the 'turbo' on. It had been a long time since so many people had denounced so much in so few days. Even the PP itself seems 'infected': the supervisory questions and motions have begun to come out of the oven like donuts, very fluid, with lightness and speed - how noticeable it is that elections are near. This 'feverish' activity, if it continues like this, will make us presume a 'hot autumn'. At least, what remains of September and part of October, when the waters calm down and return to their course.
Let's not go too far. It is not necessary to go to Africa. Here, in the West, in Europe, in a developed state like Spain, which is supposed to have overcome the 'developing' thing, there is also 'Third Worldism'. And specifically in many provincial capitals and important cities - some of them still retain a 'small-town' mentality - there are unfortunately cases - such as those I mentioned before - improper and unworthy of a society that considers itself cultured, civilized, educated and civic. Priority and vital cases that should not occur and that require immediate solution. Clear examples that something is wrong. And it is that here, where wealth and poverty coexist, there is also third-worldism. 'Porca Miseria!'
