The Yaiza City Council has made available to the Local Police this Monday three new Ford Focus patrol cars fully equipped "that are going out on the street to reinforce the citizen security service in the municipality." This was expressed by the mayor of the southern municipality, Óscar Noda, also announcing that apart from these cars, "three more patrols are being tendered to increase the police presence in all the towns of Yaiza."

The City Council highlights that, in less than four months, it has delivered five new cars to the Local Police, fleet renewal that will soon reach a total of eight vehicles.

Last October, Yaiza put into service two plug-in hybrid all-terrain vehicles acquired through co-financing with the Government of Spain. Now it has taken out these three patrols through the renting system and will buy the three more cars that it tenders together with a basic life support ambulance for Civil Protection of Yaiza and a boat for maritime rescue, which will also improve the technical resources of the southern group.

"We respond with investments to the needs derived from population growth with the commitment not to spare efforts in providing our security and emergency bodies, Local Police and Civil Protection, who work in coordination so that neighbors are much more calm", concluded Óscar Noda.
