The Public Works Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has announced the start of the works on the new lane that aims to improve access to the General Hospital and the Titerroy neighborhood.
"This is the next phase of the work to improve access to the island's main hospital,” says Medina, who also points out that the north branch, which began last October, is progressing at a great pace and is currently engaged in asphalt work.
"In this way, there will be a lane that will connect directly with the Titerroy neighborhood, thus preventing vehicles from accumulating at the entrance and considerably reducing the danger of accidents,” adds Medina.
The Cabildo of Lanzarote recalls that this intervention, of the new lane in the two entrances to the roundabout, involves an investment of 603,312.8 euros, and the company Hormigones Insulares S.L. is carrying out the works.
The Department of Public Works continues, through works such as this, with the plan to reactivate the island's economy through public works, which will improve Lanzarote's roads and infrastructure.
The Cabildo of Lanzarote asks citizens to drive with caution while the works are being carried out, respecting the provisional signs, as well as any possible road closures. Likewise, the Corporation apologizes for any inconvenience these interventions may cause.
