The Tinajo City Council has awarded Mondo Ibérisa S.A.U. the contract for the renovation of artificial turf and the irrigation system of the football field for 183,504 euros plus IGIC, which according to the City Council translates into a saving of 25% on the tender budget, specifically 61,200.70 euros.
On July 23, the Tinajo City Council constituted the Contracting Board, under the presidency of the mayor, Jesús Machín, and proceeded to make the proposal for the award of the contract. After the prior qualification of the documents presented in due time and form, the offers were listed and classified, and the Board proposed to the contracting body Mondo Ibérica S.A.U. as the successful bidder, as it obtained the best technical and economic score.
According to the City Council, the work aims to replace the playing surface of the Tinajo Municipal Football Field with "state-of-the-art" artificial turf, as well as placing turf in the back area, between the current field and the north wall of the stadium, and installing a new irrigation system, changing the existing cannons for more modern ones and the grid of the perimeter channel for collecting rainwater, among others.
The maximum execution period is two months from the start date of the works, with the expectation that it can be materialized during the months of November and December.
