The Tías City Council is creating shade areas in the playgrounds of Conil, La Asomada, Masdache and Los Pocillos through a project developed by the administration itself and financed with its own funds with a budget amounting to 207,913.85 euros.
The consistory, through the Children's Parks area, is carrying out a complete transformation and improvement of these areas, providing them with the necessary elements for the enjoyment and recreation of children and their families.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, points out that "for the design of the shade areas and the installation of pergolas, both safety and usability, accessibility and aesthetics aspects have been taken into account, so that there is a pleasant space for entertainment".
The Councilor for Children's Parks, Christopher Notario, visited the parks of Conil and La Asomada this Wednesday and confirmed that the works are being carried out satisfactorily. These days we are working with the foundations to place the wooden posts and the tensioned sails.
“The installation of shade areas in playgrounds is not a simple aesthetic complement, it is a necessity that improves the quality of life of our neighbors. In a municipality with as many hours of sunshine as ours, guaranteeing spaces protected from the heat allows children and families to enjoy the play areas with greater safety and comfort,” he declared.
Notario apologizes for the inconveniences caused by these works, which require the temporary closure of the parks. Currently we are working in Conil and La Asomada, to continue later in Masdache and Los Pocillos (Puerto del Carmen).
