Two of the participants in the eviction that occurred at the Lanzarote airport as a result of the hunger strike of the Sahrawi activist, Aminatou Haidar, have demanded that the Government Delegate in the Canary Islands, Carolina Darias, archive the sanctioning files that were opened against them.
The photojournalist Alberto Rojas and [the CC councilor in the San Bartolomé City Council, Juan Antonio de La Hoz,->36722] have sent new allegations to Darias since, according to them, those they sent "in March and April have been rejected".
According to them, they want to impose a sanction of 301 euros on each of them, for a complaint that, in their opinion, "does not conform to reality, as observed in a YouTube video that traveled half the world."
Therefore, they hope that Carolina Darias will resolve the sanctioning file in a satisfactory manner in favor of these two people, "who were simply performing their functions". "One was informing the citizens and the other was supporting the Sahrawi activist in solidarity", they indicate through a statement.
