The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, the Minister of Culture, Alberto Aguiar, and the CEO of the Tourist Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, signed last week the collaboration agreement that will allow the reopening of the mythical Bar Pablo Ruiz Picasso, in El Almacén, at 12 noon next Friday, July 1.

Once the improvement and conditioning works are finished, the Tourist Centers assume the management of the popular bar of the space created by César Manrique in 1974. From the Cabildo of Lanzarote they explain that the establishment will open with a gastronomic proposal that includes dishes "as suggestive" as the arepa stuffed with black pork and the bao bread with shredded chicken and its vegetables, among others. In addition, there will be an extensive variety of croquettes and mini hamburgers. The Corporation adds that the craft beers and the island's wine "give substance to an offer designed to satisfy the palate of the place's unconditional fans."

The president of the Cabildo celebrates the recovery and reopening of this "place of worship that has a remarkable emotional charge linked to the figure of one of the greatest Lanzarote natives in history."

For his part, the Minister of Tourism Centers is confident that the proposal articulated around the Bar de El Almacén "will contribute to boosting the leisure and social and cultural life of Arrecife."
