This year marks the tenth anniversary of the inauguration of the Tanit Museum of San Bartolomé and for this reason, on the night of July 13, the book "The Goddess Tanit" was presented in this space. It is a mythological research work about the goddess Tanit carried out by the museum's own director, José Ferrer Perdomo, who has even visited some of the places where the first engravings and the only bust that exists of this mysterious goddess were found.
The event was presented by the president of the Academy of Sciences and Engineering of Lanzarote, Francisco González de Posada, who made a small sketch of the work and praised the effort carried out by the author of the work to be able to carry out this research work.
Subsequently, José Ferrer gave way to the projection of a video that explained to the public the entire evolution of the investigation with engravings and slides about the mysteries that exist about this goddess who gives the museum its name.
The Academy of Sciences and Engineering of Lanzarote, through its president, presented a diploma to the author of "The Goddess Tanit" in recognition of his work over these ten years and for the initiative to launch this mythological research project that has had family investment and whose main objective is to serve the people.
The act ended with the delivery of a copy of said book and that the author himself signed to the attendees who wished it.
