The San Bartolomé City Council has put into operation the new DTT antenna for the town of Montaña Blanca. Through this device, the residents of this town will be able to tune into all the local channels, as well as some radio stations.
The City Council has invested 15,000 euros in this project, whose implementation has been complicated since there are shadow areas in this point that prevented the correct vision of all of Montaña Blanca. This initiative was presented this Tuesday by the mayor of San Bartolomé, Marcial Martín, the Councilor for New Technologies, José Antonio González, the company Wi-fi Canarias, Víctor de la Nuez and the company CSD Lanzarote S.L.
On the other hand, it has also been reported that the company Wi-fi Canarias, in collaboration with the San Bartolomé City Council, has put into operation a wireless network that allows users who do not have the ADSL service by cable to connect via WI-FI.
